🏆 Meet the Winner of the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award 2026
One of the highlights of my visit to the National Portrait Gallery was the opportunity to interview Marc Dalessio, winner of this year's Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award, together with Tanya Bentley, Curator of the exhibition.
This award continues to be one of the world's most important platforms for contemporary portraiture, bringing together exceptional artists from around the globe.
In this short feature from The Art Review, Marc discusses his award-winning portrait and the story behind the work that captivated the judges.
The exhibition is now open to the public at the National Portrait Gallery in London and is well worth a visit.
