It was an evening of glamour, generosity and artistic excellence at Iconic Images Gallery in London, where guests gathered for the charity auction of San B's remarkable work, Marilyn Monroe: Immortal.

A striking portrait of Marilyn, painstakingly created using thousands of SWAROVSKI crystals, with diamonds incorporated into her eyes, the work is both a tribute to one of the world's most enduring cultural icons and a remarkable demonstration of San B's exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The gallery was filled with an extraordinary sense of excitement and anticipation as collectors, supporters and invited guests came together for an evening that celebrated not only artistic excellence but also the power of art to make a positive difference. The successful sale of £350,000 reflected both the significance of the work and the generosity of those supporting an important charitable cause.

What made the evening particularly meaningful was that proceeds from the auction will also benefit Caudwell Children, supporting the charity's work with disabled and autistic children across the UK.

Having recently interviewed San B for The Art Review, I was struck not only by his artistic vision but also by the sincerity, humility and generosity with which he approaches both his work and his charitable endeavours. It is always inspiring to see an artist using creativity to support such an important cause.
