London Live Exclusive: Christian Hook Unveils Personal Journey in 'Electronic Paintings' Exhibition at Clarendon Fine Art, Mayfair!

My interview feature with CHRISTIAN HOOK showcasing his acclaimed new 'Electronic Paintings' exhibition.  Hook first caught the public attention when he was named Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the year in 2014. Since then he’s painted some of the biggest household names including Dame Judi Dench, Sir Richard Branson, Sir Ian McKellen and Amir Khan.

However, this acclaimed show is a much more personal exploration, from painting music to a work inspired by the death of a close friend and the last music track she sent him. Hook layered his paintings while immersing himself in electronic music, allowing the music to influence his brushstrokes. The result is a dynamic interplay of past and present, showcasing how AI can create order out of a chaotic start.

The exhibition on at Clarendon until 31st October. Special thanks to Rachel Simkiss, Director of Brands & Partnerships, Clarendon Fine Art, for her interview contribution.

Interview feature for London Live News and The Art Review this Friday and Sunday evenings.
